Kevin grew up at Olive and in Elkhart County. He graduated from Bethany Christian High School in 1980 and then traveled west to Hesston College. He graduated from Hesston in 1982 and from Eastern Mennonite University in 1984. He married Sharon in July of 1985 and together they have three children. Ana and Alita are students at Goshen College, and Alena is at Bethany Christian High School..
Together Kevin and Sharon served two terms in Africa through Eastern Mennonite Missions. From 1986 to 1991 they served in Somalia and from 2001 to 2007 they served in Kenya.
Along with pastoring, Kevin enjoys part-time farming, biking and reading.
Kevin, along with Sharon, began serving at Olive as a pastor in November of 2007. His primary responsibilites include preaching and pastoral care.
He dreams that during his time at Olive he can invite people to acknowledge Christ’s presence in their lives.
