Olive Mennonite Church
Building Bridges
Does Olive belong to a denomination?
We belong to Mennonite Church USA.  For more information about our denomination please go to www.mennoniteusa.org

What services does Olive have and what are they like?

Each Sunday morning the congregation gathers to worship at 9:30.  The service is relaxed and we invite people to come as they are.  Our goal each Sunday morning is to use the gifts of many people within the congregation to create a worship service that is honoring to God and ushers people into His presence.

Following the service there are snacks and hot beverages for people to enjoy and fellowship over.

Sunday School follows at 11:00.  There are Sunday School classes for all ages.  For many Olive attendees, Sunday School is not only a chance to connect and fellowship with other believers but a chance to dig into scripture and its application in daily lives.

The Contemporary Worship Service is planned and led by Olive’s Young Adults and typically occurs once a month on Sunday Evenings.  Check the calendar or Upcoming Church Activities.  The service is at 6:30pm, with coffee available at 6:15.

What is Olive's Faith Statement?
We are a community of believers who exist to worship and honor God by:
  • Growing in faith
  • Discovering and using spiritual gifts
  • Caring for people’s needs
  • Inviting people to a personal relationship with Christ and His church

We do this with the Holy Spirit’s guidance and power

What ministries is Olive involved in?
  • Our teenagers are involved in our Mennonite Youth Fellowship.  It meets each Wednesday for Bible Studies, service projects, and other fun activities.  It also does many special activities like retreats, service trips, and the Mennonite Youth Convention throughout the year
